Respite Care

walking-1868652_1920.jpg

It's ok to need a break

Caregivers can request respite care for themselves or their loved one in order to take a break. Some caregivers are reluctant to do so, but this is short-sighted. Caregivers who take time for themselves return better able to resume their caregiver responsibilities. Respite care can be beneficial to the patient as well.

Respite care services can include anything from running for a perscription, sitting with your loved one and chatting or watching tv while you nap, shower, or take a walk.
